ELSIE JANETTE ORR (nee BLACK) 1918 - 2011 She passed away quietly at Tache Centre on October 9. Our many thanks to the wonderful staff on the Second Floor, Wing C, who were extraordinarily kind to her and to us, her family. She leaves behind her daughter Janette Orr and son-in-law Tom Aubin of Windsor, Ontario; her son Doug Orr and daughter-in-law Michelle D'Aoust of Ladysmith, BC; her grandsons Lee Orr and Graeme Orr of Nakusp, BC; and our dear family friend, always there for Elsie, Rick Shore of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Orr. Following her wishes, her body was donated to the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Medicine for teaching and training purposes. A memorial service will be held this Friday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Road United Church, her spiritual home in Winnipeg. Address: 613 St. Mary's Road; phone 257-0678.
