CHARLES (CHARLIE) RAVEN Peacefully, on Monday, October 3, 2011, at the Selkirk General Hospital, Charlie Raven, aged 78 years, passed away. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Harry and Helen; brothers Louie, Edward, Steve, Norman and Joseph; sisters Irene Desjarlais, Linda Raven, Evelyn Vesner. He is survived by his son Barry; sister Bernice; brother Percy; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A wake is being all week in the Brokenhead Ojibway Hall (Next to Wavers). Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 also in the hall at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Scanterbury cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Tryston, Trenton, Robert, Larry and Kevin (grandson). Pallbearers will be announced at the funeral.
