  • Wayne, you put a smile on my face every time I played drums for you. One of the wittiest, best entertainers there was in Winnipeg. Sometimes you had me laughing so hard I could barely drum. I remember once in a bar we were playing an Elvis song and a girl got up from her table and started walking. You stopped us in mid song and said to her on the mic, “Hey, where are you going?” Surprised, she stopped and said, “To the washroom.” You said back, “Okay, go ahead, we’ll wait for you,” and you sat down on the edge of the stage and twiddled your thumbs. Dumbfounded, she looked at us, then the crowd and walked to the restroom. When she came out, you stood up and said, “Feel better? Okay guys, let’s go,” and we went back into the song. Priceless. We all miss you Wayne. Keep them dancing and laughing up there buddy. Ron Holland. - Posted by: Ron Holland (Friend) on: Mar 27, 2021
