ROSA PROVENZA It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rosa Provenza. Left to mourn are her mother and father, Frank and Maria Provenza, brother Paul (Carol) and the joy of her life, her nephew Nico, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Rosa was born November 28, 1955 in Capaci, Sicily. She immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1957. Rosa attended school in Winnipeg and had dreams of becoming an esthetician. Rosa's road was not to be an easy one, plagued with many illnesses both physical and emotional. Despite her many difficulties, Rosa continued her battle with unshakable faith and determination. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Avenue. Special thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, both in the emergency department and CancerCare.
