LILLIAN ISABELL CLAPHAM (nee DONAGHY) September 21, 1924 - December 5, 2011 It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Remaining forever to cherish her memory are her children Bill (Val), Betty (Norman), Eric (Colleen), Jerry and Cathy; as well as her grandchildren Amanda, Jason, Anna (Terry), Jill and Misty (great-granddaughter Alexis) and Katie (Paul); and her sister, Edith (and niece Linda). Lillian was predeceased most recently by her grandson Joshua; as well as her parents, Flossie and Gerald Donaghy, years ago. Born September 21, 1924, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Lil was raised by her mother, Flossie, and father, Gerald, along with her sister, Edith. Throughout her life, Lillian lived in various places in New Brunswick, as well as Boston and Montreal, before finally settling with her family in Winnipeg in 1965. A celebration of Lillian's life will be held Friday, December 9, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West.
