Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESA EMMA MARIE SWARD (nee HAMELIN) August 6, 1923 - December 16, 2011 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Theresa. Remaining to forever cherish Theresa's memory are her husband Arnott, her children Gary (Lorraine), Carol (Glenn), and Jim (Natalie), along with six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren whom she thought the world of. She worked all her life including Jack's Fashion Shop, Shop Easy, Safeway and in her 60's went back to school and then worked at Winnipeg Square selling lottery tickets. According to Theresa's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined and if you wish, donations in Theresa's memory can be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral Arrangements In Care Of WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVE. I was sad to hear the loss of your Mother, she was a very special lady and always very good to me. Sunday suppers were always a special time for me, Also the train trip to BC with the family are great memories for me. I miss my mom so much. She was the one who held our family together. Her life was not easy as she chose to adhere to so much. She served in the U.S. army at Prince Rupert BC as a typist and throughout her life she was there for us. Love eternally Carol - Posted by: Carol (daughter) on: Jan 02, 2012
