Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEIDI BENGEN-ROSSNAGEL It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of our dear Heidi on Monday, December 12, 2011, after a courageous and valiant struggle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory forever are her loving husband Roy, parents Claus and Klara, her sister Brigitte and her children Derek and Kara, brothers Helmut, Manfred, Ludwig, Klaus and their families. Heidi was a very sweet-natured, kind and gentle-hearted girl who loved her family and friends deeply. She was the type of person who always thought of others first. Heidi had a beautiful, radiant smile and a cheerful, friendly manner that endeared her to others. Heidi took great pride in her work and always strove to do her very best. We would like to express our gratitude to all the doctors and nurses at St. Boniface CancerCare who did their best to help Heidi. A special thank you to all the dedicated angels of compassion on the fourth floor who made Heidi's last days as comfortable as possible. Those of us who knew Heidi and shared her love feel truly blessed. She will be forever missed. A private service has been held. Donations in Heidi's memory may be made to Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue. Be good to each other.

I met you briefly back in the good old Elmwood High School days. You were friends with my sister Bev and friend Kelly. You had a quiet and humble way about you Heidi and a smile that was bright and beautiful. I was sad to hear of your battle with cancer and I know you have left very special people behind Heidi.
