Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I had been out of touch with Betty for a little while, didn't realize it had been this long. I tried to call the other day but my worst fear was realized. But I know we have a hope of a resurrection and hope to see her in the "new system". I first met Betty Grace on an International Convention to Italy, she was friendly and had many wonderful stories to tell. I had the pleasure to visit her in her home and stay with her for a few nights in Winnipeg where she showed me wonderful hospitality. I will miss her. - Posted by: Connie Delaney (friend) on: Sep 10, 2012

  • I enjoyed my conversations with Betty Grace. I will miss her. - Posted by: Brenda MacMillan (neighbour) on: Jan 03, 2012

  • She introduced us to Swedish Bread - we loved it. - Posted by: verna (friend) on: Dec 21, 2011

  • Betty Grace is the reason I enjoy tea. I used to have a cup of tea every now and again when offered because I wanted to appear grown up. I never liked it, though..... Until we had tea & cookies once with Betty Grace and her mother. Loose leaf Twinings Earl Grey tea. In her breakfast nook booth on Ferndale. Heavenly! Can't keep away from it now. Happy memories! - Posted by: Shannon (friend) on: Dec 21, 2011
