She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Trudy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Victor, in 2010. Mom obtained her Music Degree at University of Toronto; and music was her life long love. She became a very well respected piano teacher, teaching many students as they advanced through their examinations. Along with music, Mom's loves were singing, dancing, poetry, and her pets. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Mom's wishes, a private, family memorial will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations can be made in Thruda's name to The Children's Hospital, 840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3A 1S1.CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

What a sweet lady she was. I knew her from church when I was young and then had the good fortune to have her as a neighbor! - Posted by: Gwen Grant (Neighbor from Texas) on: Dec 23, 2011

Thruda and Vic were like grandparents to my daughters Susana & Cristina. She taught Piano to Cristina and was the one that told us she had the ear for Music. We remember Loopa when we were barbequing her nose at the fence waiting to get her share. We will always love you Thruda - Posted by: Maria Almeida (Former Neighbour/friend) on: Dec 23, 2011

Will always remember the recital of the Robert Service poem "The Shooting of Dan McGrew". The amazing thing was that she did it all from memory. "The woman that kissed him — and pinched his poke — was the lady known as Lou".Live on Trudy! - Posted by: Tim Stephenson (Former "Skooter") on: Dec 23, 2011
