Kim and Todd, Taylor, Riann and Brett, When I heard of your loss, I was heartbroken. Your mother, grandmother has been a wonderful presence in your lives, and was a great woman. She always spoke to me when I ran into her out and about. Always with a smile and friendly word. A very kind woman, who loved her grandchildren dearly. I am so so sorry to hear of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. - Posted by: Tammy and John Mulligan (Long time friend of Kim and Todd) on: Feb 02, 2012

Auntie Betty, it is so hard to believe that you have left us so early. I so enjoyed your visits to Thunder Bay and feel so lucky that we all got to see you in April of this year. I feel blessed that I also had the opportunity to talk to you on Dec. 21st; you were so looking forward to Christmas with the kids and your trip to California this winter. We had lots of laughs remembering all the great times we had in Killarney, Winnipeg and at Falcon Beach. I am so glad that you decided not to write Christmas cards this year and replace them with phone calls. I will miss you and your upbeat personality. Give Uncle Stan a big hug for us. We will toast you both on New Year's Eve; to a special couple who always lived life to the fullest. We will truly miss you. Love you lots. My family and I were extremely fortunate to have both Mr. and Mrs. 'T' in our lives. During our collective childhood, we were always guaranteed a genuine and loving welcome and numerous snacks with the trademark pic-a-pop assortment in their Tremblay Street home. During these years, both Mr. & Mrs. T were true friends to our parents as well. We will always cherish the memories and the generosity that you willingly shared with us. Forever remembered with love; the Dube Family. - Posted by: Charmayne Dube (family friend) on: Dec 28, 2011

Dear Betty, you were the best, the Mother I never had, I will miss you with all of my heart. You made me and my grandfather, Frank Loran a part of your family when we had no where to go, and later the warmth of your generosity extended for many years, many Christmas Eve’s to me and my sons, Frank and Michael. You always made us welcome and we were part of your family. This year, you were missed beyond belief on Christmas Eve, but were there with us in spirit - we will never forget you! I am so glad we had a special dinner celebration in December at the Terrace 55 but sad that we will not be able to go for dinner in the New Year as we had planned. I will miss our annual Mother’s Day lunches - last year was extra special. I will miss our almost daily phone conversations - I will miss you so much! My heartfelt condolences to Kim, Todd, Taylor, Riann and Brett and to Debbie, Darryl & Benjamin. Love always, Gina, Frank, Michael - Posted by: Gina Remillard (Cousin, long time friend) on: Dec 28, 2011

Mum, No words can express our grief. Our world has tilted and we will never adjust. It is like we have fallen and cannot get up, we will forever be off balance. We are happy you are with Dad again, we know how much you missed him! Next month will be very difficult without you, we were so excited you were coming to California, we had so much planned...Give Dad our love, THE IRISH BLESSING May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand. May God be with you and bless you: May you see your children's children. May you be poor in misfortune, Rich in blessings. May you know nothing but happiness From this day forward. May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home And may the hand of a friend always be near. May green be the grass you walk on, May blue be the skies above you, May pure be the joys that surround you, May true be the hearts that love you. - Posted by: Debra, Daryl and Benjamin (children and grandchikd) on: Dec 28, 2011
