Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH JOHN GOSS Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Joe was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Goss and sister Margaret Ferguson. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Lillian Dee, her husband Fred, and nephews Fred Jr. and James Dee all of Medicine Hat, AB. Joe was born on August 31, 1923 in the then city of St. Vital and resided most of his adult years in St. Boniface. Joe was an extremely gentle, loving, nonjudgmental and accepting person who enjoyed the Fraternity as a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Norwood Council #3538 and as well as a charter member of the Dubuc Social Club. He also was a long time member of the Franciscan Third Order of St. Anthony's Fraternity. A special thank you is extended to Brother Knight, Edward Santiago for his care, assistance and compassion that was shown to dear Joe in these later years of his life's journey. A sincere thank you and appreciation is also given to the caring and thoughtful staff at Vista Park Lodge. In keeping with Joe being a lifelong member of Holy Cross Parish a funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc Street with Father Martin Bradbury officiating and burial to follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
