Mom was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Parish. Mom was employed at Safeway as a head cashier for over 25 years until she retired. Mom looked forward to making Christmas dinner for her family and friends each year. She enjoyed traveling especially to Phoenix with her sisters and brothers-in-law. Mom enjoyed gardening and her daily walks. She loved her Tim Hortons' get-together with the (Tim's Gang). She took great pride in her cooking, baking and would share with all her family and friends. The family would like to express their thanks to Terrie's close friends Bob Todoruk and Paulette Poitras for always being there for her. In keeping with Mom's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on January 21, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, Rev. Dr. Gregory Zubacz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terrie's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME When I am gone, release me, Let me go I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy, we had so many years. I gave you my love and you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown But now it's time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust, It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away for life goes on So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near with all my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say Welcome Home . Funeral Arrangements In Care Of WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVE. WEST AT BOND 224-1525
