Although having lived at a considerable distance geographically from Aunt Nellie (Ellen) I nonetheless felt a proximity in spirit that transcended time and miles. She was a grand lady possessed of virtuous family values, a nice sense of humour, a beneficial life partner to Uncle Norman, and a respected member of her community. She will be carried in memory as a special person, and missed by all who knew her. May God attend in her a rest of peace. - Posted by: Don Wright (Nephew) on: Jan 24, 2012

Aunt Nellie will be truly missed by all who knew her. My memories focus on the wonderful visits our family had with her and "uncle Norman" in the big green farmhouse adjacent to the GWWD viaduct. I would often walk the 5 miles out to "the farm" to play/stay with my cousins Ray & Carol. We shared many great times and Aunty Nelly and uncle Norman would put up with a lot of shenanigans that Ray and I would let ourselves get into. Goodbye Aunt Nellie - you were "the best" - Posted by: Bob Esselmont (nephew) on: Jan 24, 2012
