Terry and Evelyn just heard the sad news today. I wish to express my sincere condolences to you both. Quite a few years have passed since Lionel and I spent time visiting, but the school years we shared were absolutely hilarious. Lionel's sense of humor was always front and centre. A very warm and funny person. Will always remember him. - Posted by: Rocky Findlater (friend) on: Jan 30, 2012

Dear Lionel, thank you for all the memorable memories we had together over the years. You are a legend I'll never forget. Your invitations not for 1 day but several were always a pleasure with open arms, great food, and laughing all the time. You brought out the best in everyone you touched. I had a vivid dream about you about 3 days ago. Thank you for saying good bye and thinking of me. May God bless Terry, your mom and family through this difficult time. Rest in peace, your friend always Peter Rusiecki - Posted by: Peter Rusiecki (Friend) on: Jan 26, 2012

I went to school with Lionel as we all lived in the same area. As a part of our group of friends we had a lot of good times together that will always be remembered. At this time I would like to express my deepest and most sincere sympathy to Terry and Evelyn on the loss of your husband and son. My condolences to his Mom and wife. I met Lionel many years in Lundar. He used to come out here alot with his parents. I remember Lionel and the 2 Alfred boys used to have these little mini-bikes and they used to come over to my Mom's place and hang out with a couple of friends and I. During the summer we'd look forward to seeing them and had alot of fun riding those bikes. R.I.P LIONEL. - Posted by: Diane Malcolm () on: Jan 25, 2012

Lionel and I have been lifelong friends, from the days at his parents place in Lundar, our road trip to B.C. at 17, and the many many beers we've had together over the years. This has happened way to soon. I can only hope we'll meet again someday. We will never forget you. Love Jack and Darlene - Posted by: jack longley (friend) on: Jan 24, 2012
