Deanna was born in 1941 in Dauphin, MB, youngest of five children. She came to Winnipeg at age 18. She managed an apartment block for 42 years and demonstrated for many companies. She was a friendly people person, and met many friends over the years. She loved shopping at Polo Park and going for coffee at A W. Mom suffered a stroke in 2008 that changed her life. Her biggest happiness was her grandson Stealth born in 2006. Mom was a strong, hard worker and fought till the end. • Mom I miss you so much everyday. You were my best friend not just a mother. I miss all our special times together. I never thought I could hurt so much. I feel so all alone now and wish I could have helped you more and couldn't . Life is and will never be the same again as a big piece of my heart is gone. I love you and always will and know you're watching over me. You are a beautiful angel now. Wish we could have had more time together. Love you mom forever and ever Amen. Until we meet again dear mother XOXO Love and Miss You. - Posted by: Parris Larose - Thompson (Daughter) on: Oct 09, 2012

  • I remember Deanna back many years ago. I use to go to the A&W on Portage Avenue with my father and mother when I was young. Deanna use to be there with her daughter Paris and would always give me a big hug. She knew me as a little boy - I must have been around 6 years old. I will always remember the lady at A&W who would always give big hugs and always ask me how school was. She was not just a friend, she was part of my family. R.I.P you will be missed. I wish I got to see you before I moved. - Posted by: Dale (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2012
