FLORENCE VOKEY (nee LEARNING) Peacefully, Florence passed away at Beacon Hill Lodge on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the age of 93 years. She leaves to cherish her memory six sons, Rayfield (Beverly), Bob (Dorothy), David (Pat), Wayne (Gayle), Gary (Vicki), Kenneth, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Florence was predeceased by her husband Rayfield Sr., and infant son, Douglas. Florence was born in St. John's, NL on December 8, 1918 to Ernest and Maude. She spent her early years there before moving to Winnipeg in 1945. Her life was marked by her devotion to her family. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with an interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the staff at Beacon Hill for their care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research.
