RON BEEK August 18, 1942 - February 14, 2012 Peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 Ron Beek passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Aubrey and Dora. To mourn his death Ron leaves his wife Carole, his daughter, Karen and son, David (Shannon) and two grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas, as well as, many relatives and friends. Ron was born in Paget, Bermuda and moved to Winnipeg in August of 1945. He attended high school at Miles Macdonell and went on to graduate from Red River College. Ron was employed by CRA for 28 years, retiring in 1995. When he retired, he and Carole resided during the summers at their cottage in West Hawk Lake, MB and wintered in Mission, Texas. The family would like to thank the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for all their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Ron to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 1500-2235 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, ON M2J 5B5. In keeping with Ron's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
