Dearest grandfather, to you I have loved, respected, adored, and cherished our brief connection in memory, you had accepted me so fondly with the kindest of acceptances and forever I shall keep you close to my heart, not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss your physical presence, but I now move forward in feeling that your spiritual presence is in a better place and still lingering with that smile that was of so much comfort. I never got the chance to say my goodbyes and I do so everyday, you great grand sons Bryson dimitrius sanderson and kienan Adonis sanderson may have not have gotten the chance to get aquianted with such a wonderful man but I will do my best in raising them in the likes of you to achieve the same greatness and kindness that I had admired in you, forever my love till we meet again your grand daughter Ileah❤ - Posted by: Ileah sanderson (grand-daughter) on: Jan 10, 2015

He will be missed by many who knew him! Was a gentle and easy going man who loves humanity and had thrived during his life to unite people and fight against racism. I am certain His Soul is resting in peace! - Posted by: Eric Ndima (A diplomatic friend I met some time ago in Winnipeg, Manitoba) on: Feb 19, 2013

I knew the man only in passing and I loved him from that moment on. As with my own parents, long since deceased, I can understand the agony of loss but there is also a loving peace in knowing that they have moved on to a better place. May God bless him and keep him and may all our memories include him. - Posted by: Sylvia Fitzpatrick (Friend of the family) on: Mar 06, 2012

My deepest condolences to Mr. Sapong's loved ones. I had the pleasure of celebrating his birthday at the MEET-ME-THERE picnic. He was surrounded by many loved ones. I still remember his smile as he blew out the candles on his birthday cake. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Ebow Amoah-Gyampoh (friend of the family) on: Mar 05, 2012

Alex, Selina and Chris. I had the opportunity to meet your dad once. He was picking up something from me for Selina. I found him a very gentle man. He seemed like the type of father who will do anything for his children. Sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Oliver Williams (Friend) on: Mar 02, 2012
