ROLAND ARTHUR JOSEPH BOUCHARD 1933 - 2012 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Roland Bouchard on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the age of 78 years, surrounded by his loving family. Roland's memory will be forever cherished by Annette, his loving and devoted wife of 54 years; his children René (Michèle), Denis (Tannis), Roger (Debbie), Yvonne (Jim Evans) and Anita (Ernie Kruk); grandchildren Danielle, Gerald, Eric, Jenny, Sara, Brianne, Jordan, Shelley, Daryl, Brittany, Andrew, Ryan and Caitlyn; and great-grandchildren Chloé, Nolin and Amélie. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Irene, Theresa, Alice, Marguerite and Eva (Norbert Fontaine), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Maria; his sisters Marie, Lucille, Jeannette; and brothers Armand and Gerry. Roland was a caring, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff at St. Boniface Hospital Emergency and 6E for their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at l'Eglise du Précieux-Sang (Precious Blood Church), 200 Kenny Street, with viewing one hour prior to service time. For those who desire and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the charity of their choice.
