HERBERT WILLIAM BURRON June 24, 1919 - March 6, 2012 Herbert Burron passed away peacefully in his sleep at Riverview Health Centre, on March 6, 2012. Born in Winnipeg, Dad was the youngest of 10 children. He was predeceased by his seven brothers and two sisters, his wife Mary and infant son Bryan, and son-in-law Glenn Perkins. He leaves to mourn his four daughters: Drynda Hoskins (Ray), Barbara Perkins, Bonnie Turner (Ted), and Andrea Burron (Russ Rieger), and his longtime dear friend Anne Galka. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Bryan, Claudine, Brian, Rob, Laura, Lynsay, Renee, Dan, Matt, Chelsey, Nolan and Rayna as well as 17 great-grandchildren. Dad had fond memories of his hockey days. He played with the St. Boniface Seals, winning the Memorial Cup in 1937-38. He was proud of his team being inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in 1977. Dad was an excellent golfer, playing at Pine Ridge, Rossmere and Transcona. Dad simply wanted to say that he loved his family, and we love you too Dad. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a family gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
