He was born on December 1, 1945 in the Republic of Mauritius, to which he retired after living 33 years in Canada. Michel had a passion for history, current events and cooking. He was survived by wife Angelita, children Ivan Raymond, Katherine Raymond, daughter-in-law Nadine, and grandchildren Isaac and Shanice. He will be buried in his home country.
