HELEN FORYTARZ 1928 - 2012 On March 25, 2012 our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her husband Ed in July, 1995. After her first stroke in June, 2011, Mom showed a fight and willingness to live that made us all proud. Unfortunately, her last and most severe stroke March 19, 2012 was simply too much for her to overcome. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Carol (Don), Wendy (Ian) and Ed (Bev), and her grandchildren Lincoln, Ashton, Shana (Karol), Nikki (Jeff), Christian (Cara) and Sarah. Although her time with them was brief, Mom was proud of and showed great affection for her great-grandchildren Aidan, Violet, Leni, Sloane and Anna. Respecting Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
