MARJORIE MILLY KOMADOWSKI (nee KAZINA) After a courageous battle with cancer, Marjorie passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Marjorie was born on January 15, 1938, in Tyndall, Manitoba. Left to cherish her memory is her husband John, son Gary (Kelly), and grandchildren Trevor and Karly. Marjorie is also survived by her brother Julius (Irene), and sisters Olga, Sophie, Stella, and Helen, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Eva, and her sisters Mary, Anne, Julie, Jean and brothers Mike, John, Raymond, Henry, Nick and Steve. Marjorie grew up in Tyndall, Manitoba. On September 15, 1956, she married John Komadowski. A few years later their son was born and the family moved to Winnipeg. Marjorie worked at Eaton's mail order for several years, but then chose to concentrate on her family and home. She enjoyed spending time at their Pinawa Bay cabin. She liked playing cards, dominoes, scrabble, baking, cooking, gardening, and going to old time dances. Spending time with family and friends was especially important. The family would like to thank Audrey, Marilyn and Virginia for their loving care and support shown during this difficult time. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster Street, Winnipeg, MB, viewing one hour prior to Mass. Interment will immediately follow at Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
