Wayne left us with many memories and lots of love; but it was all to be in a better place. Wayne loved and was loved by many people. He will be sincerely missed for his one of a kind personality, his large heart, great smile and for his love for golf. He had the biggest heart, with a big smile and touched a lot of hearts and made many memories with many different people he had met through his path of life. This wonderful man was born on February 6, 1949, in Winnipeg, MB, to the parents of Phyllis and Stephen Martel. He leaves behind his wife, Janet Martel, of 42 years; his two children, Vincent (Diane) Martel and Cheryl (Duncan) Martel; along with his two grandchildren, Adara (Erick) Acosta and Devon (Kristyn) Beck; as well as his one and only great-granddaughter, Elyssia Acosta, also known as his Poozie. He also leaves behind his siblings with great difficulty, Brent (Leslie) Martel, Jim Martel, Della Lachuta, Patrick Martel, Sandra Martel, Charlene (Paul) Harrigan, Shelly (Syl) Desilets and Melinda Martel. • Wayne we will all remember you from our childhood years. You had so many friends and family around your home on Waller Ave. You would come and visit us on Southwood Ave., where you also had cousins down the street. Next street over on Waterford was your Grandpa and Grandma where we used to have so much fun. When you moved to Brandon Ave., we followed, would go over there and play for hours until our Mom said it was time to come home. Now, you have gone home, Richard, Larry, Leonard and Ken are waiting for you to. have a good time again. We will all miss you. St. Germain Family. - Posted by: Linda Sobie (Cousin) on: Apr 04, 2012
