Even though I didn't get to see him a lot and he always said my name wrong. I still love him and know that he is going to go away for a while to a better place where nothing bad will happen and he will no longer hurt. He will also be reunited with his family in heaven and even though I will no longer see him in this life I will see him again in the next. Love Kay Leeeee xxoo - Posted by: Kaylie Hambrook (Great Granddaughter) on: Apr 10, 2012

You are missed Papa!! No one makes spaghetti sauce like you did, even though we all have our own secret recipes now. Your eyes always sparkled with kindness, even when we tried to trick you, when I was little, with our suprise visit, from Alberta, and put me at your front door asking for food. You were surprised alright! But you still let me in. We love you and will miss you always. Join Alice, who has been waiting for you, and enjoy what heaven has in store for you, perhaps endless rounds of golf. We know you are watching over all of us and that we will meet again one day. Your loving granddaughter, Heather "shutuppayouface" xxoo - Posted by: Heather Hambrook (Granddaughter) on: Apr 10, 2012

I remember as a young girl the gatherings on Daly street with Joe's mum and Dad. My Grama Antonia( some people call her Nettie) is now 103 years young and in 1930 Joe gave my grama a blood transfusion after an operation. My grama was always so grateful for that and she spoke very highly of all the Roberts family. I think that my great grama Caterina and Joe's mum were sisters. May God bless Joe and give peace to him for a life so well lived. May all the happy memories of Joe comfort you at this time. - Posted by: Cathy Keenan Nee Mencini (Granddaughter of Antonia Mencini Nee Cancilla) on: Apr 10, 2012
