DO MINH TUAN Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre, Do Minh Tuan passed away surrounded by his family. Tuan was predeceased by his parents Do Dat and Du Thi Xu. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Ngo Thi Minh Sa, their children: Trang Do (Kevin Koo), Chi Do, Kiet Do (Adrian Gooi), Huy Trinh, his sister Du Ngoc Xuong (Le Huu Tri) and their family as well as numerous family members here and abroad. Do Minh Tuan was an amazing husband, father and dear friend. He was humble, giving, and loyal; any one with whom he came in contact was truly blessed. He touched many lives. He took great pride in working with Shopost Iron Works. Prior to his immigration to Canada he was a gifted Math/Physics teacher. Do Minh Tuan was gifted with his hands and artistic mind. He loved to travel, paint, woodcarving and gardening. He loved supporting and watching his children perform on stage. He had a kind heart and gentle soul, and will be dearly missed by all his loved ones. A celebration of Do Minh Tuan's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service at Glen Lawn Reception Centre. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Thomson In the Park Cemetery. The family wish to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre and CancerCare Manitoba, Dr. James Johnston, Eliza Gagnon, Tina Han and Owter Nim for their loving care and support.
