GUY RAYMOND CLOUTIER After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Guy passed away on April 15, 2012. Il laisse son épouse bien-aimée, Anita, ses trois enfants, Monique (Danny), Marco (Chantalle) et Danielle (Tony); ses trois petits-fils dont il était très fier: Alexandre, André et Zachary. Il laisse aussi ses deux frères, Jean-Marc et Claude, ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs Bob et Jeannette Willis, Richard et Denise Beer, ses nombreux neveux et nièces ainsi que de bons amis. Il a été précédé de ses parents Jean-Baptiste et Antoinette, ses deux soeurs, Madeleine Conway et Charlotte Parisien et ses beaux-parents Gilbert et Marie Brunette. Guy was born in Letellier on New Year's Eve, 1936. He went to school at Ecole Provencher and Collège St. Boniface. Although he started working in the power tool business, his first love was music, playing trombone. At an early age, he joined his brother John's band then became a member of the Club LaVerendrye band. He free-lanced and played with many different orchestras in Winnipeg. He substituted for the WSO a few times; but preferred playing different venues in town, including Rainbow Stage and CBC. For the last 14 years, before retiring at age 55, he owned and operated Carus Paint and Glass in Windsor Park. Fishing was another passion of his, so a cottage was a must. Our family enjoyed every summer and many winter outings at Tannis Lake. It is there, that we grew as a family and Guy was able to transmit his love of the great outdoors to his children and grandsons. He lived life to the fullest and we will miss him dearly. A celebration of Guy's life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Un merci spécial à Dr. Julie et à Dr. Brian pour leur compassion. GUY RAYMOND CLOUTIER 1936 - 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Guy on the evening of Sunday, April 15 at Riverview Health Centre. He was surrounded by his loving family, his wife Anita (née Brunette), his children: Monique, Marco and Danielle. A longer obituary will follow in Saturday's edition of the Free Press.   • My best wishes and condolences to all the family on your loss. In the 50s and early 60's Guy played in my band along with Rudy Pollock, Dave Young and Reg Keln. He was always a wonderful player, a real gentleman, but with a wonderful sense of humour always lurking just below the surface. We lost touch after this but every so often I would see him when I returned to Winnipeg and it was always a delight to meet and share time with him again.
