I am truly touched by the family's commitment to ensuring that Mr. Garand's wishes were upheld and how fortunate that his passing was so comfortable and peaceful with all those who loved him by his side. I hope each and every one of you are able to draw strength from this amazing gift you gave him. What a strong and loving family! He will be missed but the memories will sustain you all.
