Hi Ken, If you lived on Oxford in River Heights, we were friends in grade school - do you remember coming to the Lake of the Woods with us? Sorry to hear of your loss, however you seem to have the support of a loving extended family. cheers, John - Posted by: John c. Baird (Possible grade school friend of Ken's) on: Aug 10, 2014

So many good memories with Lois and Ken. From the very first day I arrived in Canada, Lois & Ken treated me like family and I will never forget their love and hospitality. All homestay students called Lois and Ken Grandma and Grandpa which gives testament to what they meant to people around them. Also, as one of the most compassionate and wise people I have ever known, Lois never took c**p from anyone. Many life-lessons I was taught by Lois through her character and actions within the mere 1 year of my homestay term. I count myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to have known Lois Walker. Here's to one of the best people in the world one would ever meet. One who touched lives, lived, laughed and loved everyday. My thoughts are with you Grandpa Ken and the rest of the family. I will miss you Grandma Lois, your memories will remain. - Posted by: Peter Tan (Ex- Homestay International Student) on: May 07, 2012

Our deepest sympathy to the Walker Family. Lois was such a wonderful lady that I respected very much. She always welcomed us into her home where we always had a really good time (sometimes maybe too good LoL). She will be missed. - Posted by: Penny and Neil (Friends) on: May 03, 2012

We have wonderful memories of Lois. We would go golfing with Ken, and Lois would always make fresh sandwiches for the guys when we were golfing even if she had to work late to get them ready for us. Lois was a very special friend and will be missed by all of us. - Posted by: norm lafreniere & barry rempel (friends) on: May 02, 2012

I have so many wonderful memories of Lois. We were good friends as teenagers and as young mothers raising our children. My heart goes out to her family - she will be missed in so many ways. My thoughts and prayers for Ken, Debbie, Kenny, Laura, Danny and all who have joined the family in past years. May memories of Lois comfort you all in the days and years to come. - Posted by: Ann Bendall (Friend) on: May 02, 2012
