ARTHUR BRYDGES June 19, 1962 - May 23, 2012 Peacefully, at his home, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, Arthur passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 49. Arthur is survived by his mother Lily, brother Robert (Lianne), niece Kaitlyn, two nephews Brett and Braeden. He was predeceased by his father Alfred in 1998. Arthur loved his daily walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed his mother's home cooked meals on a regular basis. He found his greatest solace in families and friends pets. He will be sadly missed. In keeping with Arthur's wishes, a private family service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home in the coming week. Thanks to Dr. Tony St. Vincent and staff for their care and compassion. Special thanks to cousin Doreen Kee for her support over the years and to godmother Florence Sherby for her love. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity in Arthur's memory is appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. 338-0331 Condolences may be sent to www.klassenfuneralhome.com

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I have fond memories of Arthur from many family gatherings and times out at Hillside Beach. My condolences to Lil, Robert and family. I would like to think that he is looking after all the animals who have crossed the Rainbow bridge. There could not be a better caretaker for them. - Posted by: Kathy Ewatski-Foret (family friend) on: Jun 01, 2012

  • I taught Arthur in grade 2 at Maple Leaf School. I have thought about Arthur many, many times over the years. I saw and spoke to him at the racetrack years ago and he still had that cute little smile! I am so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Irene Hamm (Grade two teacher at Maple Leaf School) on: May 26, 2012
