ROBERT (BOB) CAUGHLIN It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, and grandfather, Robert Leslie Caughlin on Monday, May 28, 2012, at the age of 78 years. Bob was born on January 19, 1934, in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Betty Jean; father Leslie, and mother Bernice. He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Mary, son Kevin (Debbie), son Cary (Sandra), daughter Kathy (Dan), daughter Kim, and grandchildren Tara, Tyler, Carly, Amy, Jarrett, Bryce, Nicholas and Katrina. He also leaves his sister Donna, brother Kelly (Judy), brother Bill (Judy) and the children of his second wife, Brad, Darcie (Bob), Brian (Monique), Delaine (Rod), and their children Laura, Dylan, Graham, Sophie, Sydnee, Julia, Marco, and Wyatt. Dad was an honest, gentle, hardworking and caring person and was a proud member of the Shriner's Fife and Drum unit. He was president of St. Vital Curling Club in 1976 to 1977 and enjoyed many years of curling with family and friends. He began his career with the railroad, later was owner/operator of a Gulf Service station and ended his career as manager of the Southdale Block Brothers Real Estate office. Throughout his long battle with cancer, Dad remained positive, upbeat and never lost his sense of humour. His courage, strength and love will forever remain in our hearts. Uncle Bob was an integral part of my growing up amongst family and great cousins. We spent every summer at Falcon Lake. Aunt Bett always would make sloppy joes which I had never had until she made them. Bob and Bett had a trailer beside the cabin and we all hung out together - which was awesome. I am sad that no one told me about Uncle Bob's passing. I love you Uncle Bob. - Posted by: Brenda Mullaney (niece) on: Jul 01, 2015

So sorry to hear this sad news. Bob was a wonderful man who could always make me laugh. I worked with him for several years at Block Bros and thought about him often years after - he was just that type of person you never forgot. May all your memories help you find comfort. - Posted by: Nicole Pelland (Friend / Co-worker) on: May 30, 2012
