Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJESSIE CORTVRIENDT January 19, 1925 - May 30, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our Mom, Nanny and Great-Nanny on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Mom lived a full, happy life. Mom came to Canada from England as a war bride in 1946 to begin a new life with her husband Daniel, who predeceased her in 2002. Mom was fortunate to have a family that loved and cared about her, her sons David (Sharon), Rick (Val), and her daughter Marie (Rick). Mom has ten wonderful grandchildren: Michael (Cathy), Darrin (Marlie), Jason (Kendall), Jerrod (Nicole), Christopher (Tara), Lori, Danny, Kelly (Brent), Sonia (Brent) and Lisa. There are 20 great-grandchildren who will miss all their special times with Great-Nan, a.k.a. Nanny. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
