Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMADELEINE PATENAUDE November 23, 1922 - June 5, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family announces Madeleine Patenaude's peaceful passing into the arms of God on June 5, 2012 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur on May 27, 2008. She leaves to mourn her daughter Louise, her sons Gilbert (Paulette) and Raymond (Denise), and her grandchildren Devon, Justin, Danielle, Vincent, Joel and Robert. She is also survived by her sister Agnès Chouinard, brothers Arthur, Hervé and Marcel, sisters-in-law Rita Lessard and Vivian Fields, numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. She was predeceased by her parents Camille and Alice (née Cadieux), her five sisters Berthe Aubin, Fernande Dupuis, Cécile Graveline, Simone Lavallée, Lina Leclair; her seven brothers Florent, Pierre, Robert, Lionel, Jean, Joseph, Robert; and sisters-in-law Olive Edwards and Clarabelle Yule. Mom was born in Letellier, Manitoba. She married Arthur on November 29, 1958. They lived in St. Germain for 30 years. She was a stay at home mom and loved working outdoors, be it tending to her garden or simply working in the yard. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012 at St. Eugene Parish, 1007 St. Mary's Road. Cremation has taken place. The interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens will immediately follow the reception which will be at St-Eugene Hall. The family would like to thank the staff at the Foyer Valade for welcoming Mom in her new home on March 21. They took great care of her! We also want to thank her dear friends at Davista Courts for looking after our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
