Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE MURIEL LAFRENIERE (nee JOHNSTON) September 25, 1928 - June 11, 2012 With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of our precious mom and devoted grandma, Beatrice. Mom is survived by her sister Kathleen. She was predeceased by husband, Dollard Lafreniere; son Don and grandson Michael, sister, Madeline; brothers: David, Wilfred, Alex, Eugene and Norman. She will be lovingly remembered by children: Joan (Bob), Judy (Neil), Cynthia (Murray), Randy (Gwen), Bradley, Gail (Michel), Desmond (Tammy). Grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Mary (John) Benjamin; Marla Courtney, Hailey; Ian (Sherry), Dana (Hart) Max, Farrah; Tina; Rochelle (Patrick), Ryan (Sheila) Brea, Jaelyn; Adam; Jason, Jeremy (Nicole); Melodie Dion, Silas; Tiffiney (Michael) Bella, Blair; Jocelyn, Jameson, Meghan, Graham, Myra, Nicole (Adam) and Paul. A celebration of life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with interment to follow. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. A reception will be held immediately following the service. A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff of the St. Norbert Care Home, we are forever grateful. Home won't feel the same without you Grandma, we are going to miss your beautiful unique smile that we experienced every time you saw someone you loved. I know you will be looking down on us with that same smile. Comforted by precious memories, your wit, charm and grace will live on in our stories forever.
