AUDREY DALE DAVIDSON (nee MARRIOTT) December 16, 1939 June 17, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Dale, at her residence. Left to cherish her memory are: her three sons, Jeff, Brad, Trevor (Debra) and her two grandchildren, Katlyn and Kenneth. She is survived by one brother, Ted (Glenda) Marriott. Dale was predeceased by her parents, Joseph (1967) and Harriett (1993). Dale grew up in Boissevain, MB. After high school, she attended the St. Boniface Hospital School of Nursing in Winnipeg. She graduated and worked as an RN. She was a Public Health Nurse and RN for VON. Dale went back to school at the University of Manitoba and obtained her Bachelor of Nursing in 1988, while she worked for the VON. Finally, she was employed by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority homecare until she retired in 2005. She loved her career in nursing and the people she had looked after throughout this time. After her retirement, she spent her free time at West Hawk Lake at the cabin and with her family. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she would often stop in to visit with them and get a game of cards while she was there, she loved cards. Throughout the years, Dale enjoyed curling, golfing and Bridge. She was a member of several Bridge clubs. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street with viewing held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dale to a charity she had canvassed many years for, the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO.
