Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDUARDO GIUSEPPE CHIAPPETTA October 8, 1931 July 20, 2012 With his family by his side, after an eleven month fight with his illness Eduardo lost his battle. Predeceased by his father, Michele, his mother Rosina and sister Mafalda (Vinanzio). Survived by his wife Gina nee Pantusa, children Michael (Lina), Rosemary (Jeffrey) and Nello (Clelia), grandchildren Eduardo and Julianna, brothers Tony (Olivia), Mario (Maria), Ettore (Sheryl) and many nieces and nephews. Eduardo came to Winnipeg and started Sherbrook Shoe Repair until he retired at age 65. He enjoyed his cabin at Winnipeg Beach, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. The loves of his life were Gina of 60 years, his children and his grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with viewing held one hour prior to the Mass. Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano celebrant. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum. 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes or the Manitoba Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. To Eduardo's family our sincerest condolances. My family lived across the street at 71 Sherbrook St and saw Eddie and his brothers often. I'll always remember the smell of the leather in his shop when I would drop off my shoes. He always charged me 75 cents for my lifts and he taught me to take care of my shoes.
