THERESE (TERRY) LUCINA HOFMANN April 19, 1956 - July 25, 2012 Therese was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She succumbed to a long battle with cancer on July 25 at the age of 56 years. She is predeceased by her father Bernie and mother Bertha Reczek who always loved her. She was married to Dale Leroy Hofmann for 37 years. Therese was a loving mother of two children, Albert and Irene Hofmann. She also leaves behind her brother Edward Reczek and many grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, cross-stitching and sewing. She also enjoyed playing with her dog Miley. She always showed her support by volunteering at many breast cancer fundraisers with her daughter. She was also a breast cancer survivor for seven years. She operated a successful accounting firm with her family for 32 years. Due to her pleasant demeanor, she developed many long lasting friendships. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. (corner of Inkster and Keewatin), Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Cremation to follow. Any flowers or cards you wish to give can be brought to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
