I have lots of good memories even though I have not seen or spoken to her in several years. My memories are of a good natured person with a good sense of humor. Very family oriented with her children and in turn their children, her grandchildren. My prayers and thoughts are with her husband Glenn, daughters Sharon and Carol and Glenn their son and their extended families at this time. May her memory be eternal. May God grant her peace and give her rest as we wait for that day coming. - Posted by: Garry Horne (Brother) on: Aug 15, 2012

Condolences to Uncle Glenn and all the family. It is with our deepest regret that we cannot be with you at this tragic time but want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you are always. Auntie Olie was a wonderful lady and I will miss her so very very much and I am deeply saddened by the news. When I think of times in my life so many of the memories include Auntie Olie and for that I am truly thankful to have had such a special loving lady so close in my heart. These memories include spending summer holidays together, decorating Easter eggs, Christmas, picnics, how she fussed over Jack the first time she met him and even simple things like a laugh over a cup of tea - oh and one must not forget a certain serving of mashed potato...a memory that to this day we would share a hearty laugh over and brings a smile to my face even now. Although you are no longer with us Olie, you will live with us forever in our hearts and minds and even in some of our ways, for it was through you more than anyone that I learned that it's best to say it as you see it because then at least people always know where you stand and that they can count on you for being honest with them - even though they may not always like what they hear. Have a great time in heaven with those that have gone before and rest in peace knowing that you have left a permanent mark on this earth through your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sisters and brother and anyone else that had the honour and pleasure to know you well. We love you and always will x - Posted by: Donna, Jerry & Jack Barnard (Neice and family) on: Aug 15, 2012
