OLIVE MAE WRIGHT (HOME) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olive Mae Wright on Sunday, August, 12, 2012 at the Victoria General Hospital, aged 68 years. Olive leaves behind her loving devoted husband of 44 years Glenn, her loving children Sharon (Howard) and their children, Jessica, and Christopher Lawrence; Carol (Frank) and their children Ashley, Britney, and David Sadler; and Glenn Jr. (Marie) and their child Cordell Wright. She also leaves behind her sisters Doreen Walker, Alfreda Cookson (Dale) and brother Gary (Janet) Horne, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Olive was born in Brandon, Manitoba to Reginald and Margaret Horne. She worked at the Prince Eddy Hotel in Brandon where she met and married Glenn Wright in 1968. Olive enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzles, and word search. We would like to thank the staff at Victoria General Hospital for the care of Olive. A graveside service took place at the St. Vital Cemetery on Thursday, August, 16, 2012 officiated by Rev. Philip Read.
