Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL CHARLES SEEWALD November 20, 1944 - August 26, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and brother on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Paul passed away peacefully with family by his side. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Yvonne (nee Lussier), his sons Roger and David and his daughter Nicole (Marc) Petit who all meant the world to him. He was a proud father and grandfather. His four grandchildren were the joy of his life: Colin, Mark, Cody and Christopher. He will be lovingly remembered by his six siblings Beth (Dave) Frank, Guy (Jeannine), Leo (Lynda), Marie (Ray) Jacques, Therese Mondor and Joe (Nikki). He is also survived by his mother-in-law Gemma Stevens, sisters-in-law Marie (Jean) Vachon, Emelie Lavallee and brotherin-law Louis Lussier as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his precious grandson Jesse, father and mother Charles and Alma Seewald, brother Noel Seewald, sister-in-law Denise Seewald, brother-in-law Roger Roy, nephews Tyson Seewald and Patrick Jacques, father-in-law Louis Lussier and stepfather John Stevens. Paul enjoyed being with family and friends, playing cards, crib and Skip-Bo to name a few. He loved camping and fishing with family and friends. He also loved travelling. Paul worked as a welder for Allied Farm Equipment for many years in Winnipeg and later started his own fabricating/welding business in Richer, Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to War Amps of Canada, Key Tag Service, 1 Maybrook Drive, Scarborough, Ontario, M1V 5K9; or online at www.warapms.ca/donation. Donations can also be sent to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the doctors, pastoral care and the staff of Victoria Hospital, units 4 and 5 for their care and compassion. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
