My Uncle Mike was a true war hero. He served with the Royal Canadian Artillery from 1940 to 1945 fighting his way through Sicily, up the boot of Italy and in France and Germany. He was twice wounded. He was one of five brothers to serve in the Canadian Army in World War II and his/their father had served in the Canadian Army in WWI. My condolences to my cousins for the loss of their father. - Posted by: John Blatherwick (Nephew) on: Oct 22, 2012
