LUKE JAMES MCKAY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luke James McKay, age 34, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 26, 1978. Deceased August 27, 2012. Luke wasn't just a son or brother, but our hero and words cannot express the loss that we feel at this time. He will be missed for his handsome smile and kind gestures he so often offered. He leaves behind his mother Elaine Cameron, his father Archie McKay, his brothers, Samuel, Archie, and Matthew, his sisters, Colleen and Evelyne, his two children, Benjamin and Adrianna, fiancé Tammy Stranger, plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles, and grandmother Gloria McKay. Pallbearers will be his (uncle) Steven Cameron, (uncle) Moses McKay, (cousin) Joe McKay, (cousin) Justin McKay, (cousin) Jay McKay, and (cousin) Adam Cameron. Thank you to all of the special people that were there to help and support us through this difficult time. Wake service will be held at 324 Logan Ave., Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The funeral to follow, on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 12:00 noon.
