I LOVED HOWARD STORIES WHEN HE WAS A YOUNG MAN, THE STORY I MOST ENJOYED THE BEST IS THE ONE ABOUT HOW THEY MADE THEIR OWN WINTER WEAR, AND HOW HE MADE A PAIR OF MITTENS OUT OF SKUNK TAILS. I ALSO WAS INTRIGUED WHEN HE TOLD STORIES ABOUT WHEN HE WORKED ON HIS FAMILY FARM AND MAKING AND decorated THE SLEIGH WITH BELLS AND RIDING ON IT DURING CHRISTMAS TIME. I ALSO KNOW HE LOVED ANIMALS BIG AND SMALL AND HOW THE FAMILY HAD BRED THEM. HE EVEN HAD A PICTURE OF MY DACHshund (ONYX) ON HIS WALL IN HIS SUITE. HOWARD ALSO ENJOYED BINGO NIGHT AT PARK MANOR, I DO BELIEVE WHEN HE WON A BINGO HE LOVED THOSE POPCORN TWISTS. I WILL MISS YOU VERY MUCH AND ALL YOUR GREAT STORIES THAT I FOUND SO FASCINATING. THANK YOU HOWARD FOR MAKING TIME WITH ME TO TELL ME HOW YOUR DAY WAS TO WHAT YOU LIKED FOR LUNCH, R.I.P HOWARD. - Posted by: DEBRA kOSOWAN (VOLUNTEER/ PARK MANOR) on: Sep 16, 2012

Sorry to hear Howard passed away. We always enjoyed our time with him at the HY KNOX bowling events across western Canada. We lost track of him after he left Beach Ave. He was very proud of his daughter, Maureen and granddaugter Amanda. RIP Howard. - Posted by: Doug & Judy Walton (co-worker) on: Sep 10, 2012
