TOBY POLLOCK With great sadness, we announce the passing of Toby Pollock on September 5, 2012. Born in Winnipeg on October 28, 1934, Toby is survived by her husband, Gordon, her five children, Marla, Bradley, Marisa, Joni and Cory Pollock, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. In Toby's honour, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Fund, C1026 - 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2H 2A6, or to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba.

  • Gordon, Marla, Bradley, Missy, Joni and Cory, I am so saddened to hear of your great loss. Your family was such a special part of my life growing up and I have warm memories of being included in your kitchen nook on Brock St and sharing in the laughter of such a stimulating family. I was always in awe of Toby assembling bagged lunches for the kids, even when they were in university. Yes, she was the glue, but the chocolate chip cookies were what really stuck us all together.
