JAY LEWIS February 6, 1956 September 9, 2011 Our Dearest Jay - our wonderful husband, father, son and brother. It's hard to believe it's been a year since you were taken from us. A year without hearing your voice, a year without feeling your warmth. A year filled with the absence of your presence. Every day we miss you and love you. I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on his tombstone from the beginning to the end. He noted that first came the date of his birth, and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the years he spent alive on earth, and now only those who loved him know what that little line is worth. In love and remembrance, Deb, Kelly, Dan, Jody, Pat, Troy, Tamma, Bob, Stacey, Sharon, Jim and families. It was an honour to share your dash.
