MAURICE PROBIZANSKI Maurice Probizanski, the last surviving son of Stuartburn settlers, John and Catherine Probizanski, died in Thunder Bay, Ontario on September 8, 2012, at the age of 94.

  • I was sorry to hear of the passing of Maurice Probizanski. Mrs. Probizanski was my Grade 4 teacher in Stuartburn and I have fond memories of their daughter Patsy. I so fondly remember Maurice Probizanski sampling my mother`s butterscotch cookies and enjoying them. The Probizanskis were good to my parents and for that I am grateful.
