Jane and family, Gord, Dianne, Lawrence, and Brian and your families, my deepest condolences to all of you. Growing up across the river, going to the Lydiatt school together, football games in the yard, hockey on the rink. Mel was always kind and fun, and my, he was such a good hockey player. I clearly remember how, when I was a little girl, he would tell me to lock my elbows at my sides, then pick me from behind up by my fists, and carry me around. Such happy memories. - Posted by: Diane James (Cousin, ) on: Sep 17, 2012

Jane and family, I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow. When I was a little girl and Mel would come over to see my brother Ron I always thought he was the most handsome guy and he would always have a smile for Ron's pesky little sister. - Posted by: Gloria (Loeb) McKoluff (Cousin) on: Sep 15, 2012
