Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCIS EDWARD (FRANK, TOMMY) THOMPSON 1919 2012 Sadly, Frank passed away on September 8, 2012. Frank was predeceased by his wife Marjorie in 2001. He is survived by his son Ron, daughter-in-law Julie, granddaughters Jana and Kristy and their families, including three great-grandsons, his sister Pearl Young and many nieces/nephews. Frank was a loving husband and father. While his son was growing up, Frank went out of his way to partake in community sport activities. He developed life-long friendships in his military career which included the Second World War. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to his sister Pearl, for her devotion and care for Frank during his final years. A special thank you goes to the staff of Deer Lodge Centre for their excellent care. With respect to Frank's wishes, a funeral will not be planned. Frank always had a special place in my heart. I had the pleasure of knowing him for the past 4 years. We walked together a few times a week. Frank was a very kind man with a great sense of humor.
