Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHECTOR MONSANTO HENSON On Friday, September 21, 2012, Hector peacefully passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 73. Hector was predeceased by his brother Armando and sister Emerita Valencia. Hector will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Fortunata, and their children: Teresita (Leo) de Guzman, Aurora (Jim) Capuska, Henry (Erica) Henson and Zaida (German) Amante. Grandchildren: Jonathan, Garry and Jason de Guzman, Jessika and Jenna Capuska, Michael and Nicholas Henson, Ashley, Amy and Samantha Amante. Great-grandchild Calvin James. Brothers: Briccio (Linda), Danilo (Norma), Leo (Pee Wee), Ronald and sisters: Esmeralda Manalang and Julie, sisters-in-law: Leonila (Larry) Jarlega and Carmelita Federico. Many more family and friends will also miss Hector. Hector loved and enjoyed fishing and from time to time can be heard sharing a fish story the one that got away . He also loved watching TV and playing cards with his family. Viewing will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight. Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Arlington Street. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Glen Lawn Reception Centre. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Dialysis Unit who became a big part of Hector's life while in their care. We would also like to thank the Health Sciences Centre Emergency Team for the loving care and support given to Hector and his family on his last few hours of life.
