DAVID YOUNG (SCOTTY) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on September 26, 2012. Dave is survived by his wife Flora; his children Don (Janet), Donna (Roy) Hadaller, Linda (Bob) Forbes; his five grandchildren, predeceased by his grandson Michael; eight great-grandchildren, his brother-in-law Ernie, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dave was born December 19, 1925. He was happily married for 63 years. Dave was in the Navy and grew up in Fort Rouge. He worked for C.N.R. for 43 years as a carman welder. He belonged to the Fort Rouge Legion and the Foresters. He was active in curling, bowling, bingo, loved going to the casino and loved spending time with his family. Dave will always be remembered for his kindness, sense of humour and most of all for his love for his family. He will never be forgotten and will always be remembered in our hearts. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Many thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and to Dr. Johnson for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Dad, we will miss you very much Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
